Funny pages moberly11/1/2022 It was a silver for Dinari in the u55k, along with bronzes for both Kamal and Kyle. In section C, Omar produced outstanding judo to win the u46k category. On Day one, Myeisha won gold in the u44k category section B, and Maddie won a bronze in the u70k. The unique event is split by grade on day one, and juniors, seniors and masters on day two. It was also Moberly’s 21st appearance at this event that is always well attended and respected. The 25th Kent International was another successful event for Alan and Jean Lingham. Special mention to Emma who also took part in the A1 event on Saturday in East Ham earning a gold medal. Bronzes were won by Isabella, Eva, Ricayah, Avyaan, Kameel, Karam and Tumon. Silvers for Micayah, Yaqoob, I’sah and Deborah (who also won the ippon of the day). In the red and Yellow belt section there were golds won by Abdullah and Jahnae making her debut. Trophy winners, Emma, Razia, Julia, Azriel, Joanne, Raheam, Adnan, Christopher, Alex, Yahya, Abdullah and Himmat. Trophies were presented without ranking order to keep with the associations under 8 competition policy. The under 8 event was run to ensure all those that took part fought among the same pre-arranged ranking system to keep the fresh beginners away from the little ninjas! There were fantastic contests and performances and some absolutlely memorable moments. Its a great opportunity to give the youngest members of the team a chance to gain competition experience and win trophies. A great event with a fantastic atmosphere. Well done to all that fought at the Windsor U8 fetival and Red/Yellow belt.
